Birth Support

I support pregnant people and their families in creating birth plans and advocating for their wishes, providing education for pregnant people and partners through pregnancy and labor, as well as providing comfort measures during pregnancy and labor such as massage and relaxation techniques.

Standard Birth Package

My standard birth services package includes support before, during, and after birth. Services can be adjusted based on your preferences and can include:

  • 3 prenatal visits over Zoom to discussing your birth vision, review comfort measures, and plan for postpartum depending on your needs

  • Unlimited phone & email support

  • 24/7 on-call period from 38 weeks

  • Continuous virtual support during labor

  • Up to 2 postpartum visits over Zoom

  • Assistance with infant feeding including support breast/chestfeeding, bottle feeding, and pumping

  • Referrals to additional support before, during, and after birth.

  • Custom rituals celebrating pregnancy, birth, and blessing of the child if desired.

I work on a sliding scale $600-$1600 for birth support depending on where clients feel they fall on the scale. No questions are asked and payment plans are always available.

Also, I’m aware that $600 is still too high for some people to access support; if this is the case for you, please reach out.

Childbirth Education

I offer comprehensive childbirth education classes that are interactive, personalized, and evidence-based. Classes are always LGBTQ-centered, body-positive, and trauma-informed.

Private childbirth classes are $150-300
For birth clients, add on childbirth classes for $100-250

Private childbirth classes

People bring all kinds of knowledge to pregnancy and birth. Through tailored childbirth education, I seek to build on the knowledge you already have while equipping you with knowledge and tools to realize your vision for birth. Always without judgment, we will explore options and strategies for aligning your values with your birth experience.

Classes include three sessions that are two hours long.

Some possible topics include:

  • Informed consent and advocacy

  • Expectations and realities of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum

  • Stress reduction, movement, and other support for pregnancy

  • The physiological process of birth and postpartum

  • Building your toolbox of comfort measures for labor including tips for partners and support people

  • Complications, inductions, interventions, and pain relief options

  • Information about cesarean births including procedures and recovery, gentle cesareans, and avoiding an unnecessary cesarean birth

  • The postpartum period, including information about perinatal mental health and infant feeding

  • Plenty of time for practice and questions

Hourly Support

I offer prenatal and postpartum support on an hourly basis. Please reach out and we can put a package together that fits your needs.

All hourly support is on a sliding scale of $30-50.

Virtual Birth Visioning and Prenatal Support

There is so much uncertainty during this time. Whether you are exploring pregnancy options, considering changing birth sites, adjusting to policy changes at your birth site, trying to plan for a socially distanced postpartum period, coping with a loss, or otherwise looking for support around reproductive experiences during this time. This is an offering for you to talk through your experience, brainstorm some strategies, and make a plan to get you the support you need.

Postpartum Support

Adjusting to a new baby is magical and challenging and exciting and miserable and so much more. Postpartum support looks different for every family. Some of the things I might do include:

  • Holding your baby so you can take a shower

  • Listening while you vent about the difficulties of parenting a newborn and celebrating your weird parenting wins

  • Offering encouragement and validation of your infant feeding choices

  • Going for a walk with you having an adult conversation to remind you that you are so much more than “just a parent”

  • Helping you get connected with new parent groups, lactation support, pelvic floor physical therapy, and more

Let’s chat about how I can support you.

Abortion, Miscarriage, and Loss Support

Abortion and Miscarriage Support

As a volunteer with the Boston Abortion Support Collective, I am available to provide support to people who choose abortion or those experiencing unintentional pregnancy loss in the Boston area.

All experiences with fertility can have a profound impact on us and are worth honoring. If you are experiencing a loss or need an abortion, make sure you have the support you deserve.

I can provide

  • Nonjudgmental support around pregnancy decision-making

  • Comfort measures, informational, and emotional support and advocacy in a clinic or at home

  • Continuous support before, during and after your experience

I provide these services free of charge.
